Well, it’s that time of year when everyone is talking about getting that “summer body”! Summer is right around the corner and many are scrambling to get their bodies “right and tight”!
So, I thought now would be the perfect time for me to drop in with a little reminder for you to help relieve yourself of this pressure by instead focusing on being at your best year round- whatever that means for YOU! Don’t go chasing after someone else’s ideal of what you should look like for summer or any other season for that matter.
A healthy lifestyle is one that makes you feel good about yourself at all times. Sure, it’s absolutely fine to have bodily goals you want to achieve, but make sure it’s in alignment with your overall lifestyle and one that is sustainable and enjoyable.
This is how you ensure feeling and looking good all year and “staying ready” as opposed to scrambling to “get ready” for anything. So, in short, I believe the goal is that a summer body should be the same as a winter or spring body. A body that is strong and feels good all year long and if it happens to include the six pack you’re after then, that’s just an added bonus! Be well friends!
